FESTIVAL FAQ
When is the Festival?
Santa Fe Independent Film Festival will take place October 19th-23rd, 2022
Where is the Festival?
Santa Fe Independent Film Festival screenings will take place at our 5 partnering theaters—The Lensic, Violet Crown Cinema, Jean Cocteau, CCA, and Santa Fe Railyard Park—as well as virtually. SFiFF after parties, which will be available to passholders, will take place at various venues in downtown Santa Fe.
What is Elevent?
Elevent is the ticketing platform for the Santa Fe International Film Festival. When you purchase tickets at boxoffice.santafe.film, you will receive a confirmation email from Elevent with the subject line: “Order Confirmation # – Santa Fe International Film Festival”.
When and How can I get tickets? SFiFF will announce its festival program in early October, 2021 at which time individual tickets will go on sale. Visit boxoffice.santafe.film to purchase individual tickets.
What’s the difference between a Pass and a Ticket?
A ticket gives you access to an individual screening, event, or panel that you have purchased, while a Pass includes access to everything happening during the festival, except the Filmmaker Brunch.
Can I still attend the Festival if I’m not a Passholder?
Absolutely! You can purchase tickets to shows online or at the door, and there will also be several free screenings open to the public.
Where can I buy tickets?
Up until the morning of the showing, you can purchase tickets online. After the morning of the show online tickets are no longer available, but you can still get them at the show’s venue, or by calling our Box Office: (505)397-0371.
*Prior to the week of the festival, assistance with Festival Passes and tickets can be reached at SFiFF offices: (505) 397-0371.
Are there any package deals for tickets?
Of course! If you know you want to attend multiple shows, you can purchase package deals online for a discounted price. We offer packages of 6 or 8 tickets.
When should I arrive for the screening?
It is recommended for Passholders to arrive up to 15 minutes before showtime to guarantee a seat. SFIFF can’t guarantee seats for Passholders who don’t show up at least 15 minutes before. Ticket holders should arrive 10 minutes before the screening to join the ticket holder line. Late seating is not accommodated.
What do I need to bring to the screening?
If you are a Passholder, all you need is your pass. If you bought a ticket online, you’ll need to bring a physical or digital copy of your ticket.
What if the film I want to see is sold out?
Go to the theater 10-20 minutes before showtime, and enter the waitlist.
Can I purchase a Membership and Member-discount Pass in the same transaction?
You can! When you add an item to your cart, it will stay in your cart until you remove it. This way, you can visit both membership and pass pages without losing your progress. Log into your Festival ticketing account (Elevent) (or register for one) and add both items before completing the purchase.
I bought a pass. How and When do I get it?
All passes and all reserved tickets must be picked up in person at the SFiFF Box Office on or after October 19th, 2022. You must present your pass at all screenings and events.
Where is SFiFF’s Box Office?
SFiFF’s Box Office is at the Hilton Santa Fe Ballroom, at 100 Sandoval Street, by the intersection of San Francisco Street.
Can I share my pass?
No, passes are non-transferable and each pass is for one attendee.
Can my pass be revoked?
Yes. SFiFF can revoke your pass without refund if you are disruptive to other guests at any event during the Fest. Any disruption (at our discretion) that is an intentional attempt to interrupt, subvert, or threaten any program can result in immediate and permanent revocation of your pass and pass revocation of anyone else in your party.
I have my tickets. What do I do next?
Please double check your film selections listed on your order confirmation email.
- If the tickets you’ve purchased are for an in-person screening, check santafe.film/theaters for the venue address, and be sure to arrive 10 minutes before the screening time.
- If your tickets are for a Virtual Event, you will receive a Virtual Access Email in order to stream your selections.
