FAQ

What time should I arrive?

All vehicles must be parked by 7:15 pm. There will be no late admission! Please come early to avoid disappointment.

Do I need a ticket for everyone in the car?

In order to limit contact and help expedite entry, we want to scan 1 ticket per vehicle. The ticket price represents the total for your vehicle, including everyone in it.

Will there be alcohol for sale?

No, there is NO outside alcohol allowed or drinking inside vehicles.

Can I bring food?

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own food & coolers but NO GRILLS. Please plan to bring home everything you bring to the event and everything you purchase at the event as there won’t be any trash cans on site due to social distancing requirements. We will have trash bags available if needed.

Will there be food vendors?

Yes, we will have food vendors on site.

Will there be restrooms?

Yes. We are providing portable restrooms spaced safely along both sides of the viewing area and sanitizing stations inside stalls. Bathroom attendants will sanitize units regularly. You must wear a mask to use the restroom.

What if I need to leave during the show?

There is no in-and-out access. All vehicles must remain until the end of the show unless there is an emergency. At the end of the show, please follow the guidance of the parking attendants for an orderly exit.

Is parking included with my ticket?

Yes! By design, all parking charges are included in your ticket price.

What types of cars are allowed?

All sedans, mini – vans, SUV’s, and trucks are allowed but NO RV or BUS access will be granted. Parties will not be allowed to arrive separately. Please arrive with your full party in your vehicle. Each person in a vehicle must have a legal seat.

How will the sound work?

We’re planning all audio through an FM transmitter for broadcast to your car stereo or personal FM radio.

Am I allowed to get out of my car?

Our goal is to limit contact and interaction amongst everyone on site. You will have 20’x20’ square area around your vehicle as your personal viewing area. You can only leave that space to use the restrooms or visit vendors. There is no mingling outside of the designated area included with your ticket price. Please respect your neighbors.

Are animals allowed?

No animals allowed (service/support animals only)

Do I need to wear a mask?

You are not required to wear a mask while in your vehicle. A face covering per the CDC recommendations will be necessary to leave your area to utilize the restrooms, concessions, food vendors, etc.

Is there anything I should bring with me?

Yes! Bring a mask. Bring your own hand sanitizer and bring a battery powered FM radio if you do not have one in your vehicle.

I don’t have a car, can I take a rideshare there?

You must drive to the event and arrive with your entire party in one vehicle. No overflow or additional parking is available.

Is this an all ages event?

Please be advised that some films shown at Santa Fe Independent Film Festival are UNRATED and may be considered offensive or inappropriate for some viewers. We encourage anyone under the age of 18 to attend with an adult guardian.
